Service is a delicate balance between rushing around and appearing hospitable. Sometimes thats tough. I could tell our server wanted to make us have an enjoyable experience, but she seemed like she was spread pretty thin. My wife asked for real maple syrup (shes a princess like that) and the server obliged, but she just brought a different kind of pancake syrup. An honest mistake. The bacon wasnt the hugest quality, but I enjoyed my omelette. I liked that it wasnt as oily as some omelettes in other establishments. Good coffee.
We had supper here with friends from out of town. Very enjoyable! Everything was delicious: the haddock is my favourite, other choices at our table were steak and scallops,all perfectly done. Serving sizes were just the right size. But you really should leave room for dessert! Prices are reasonable with most main course items under $20. Our waitress was excellent. Tom's is a favourite place for us.
Varied menu, friendly staff. Very large restaurant, it looks small from the front but is quite deep with lots of seating. Nice light and comfortable decor with large booths that have large windows. Our food was served super hot and fresh. We had a nice lunch and we'll be back.
I had a two piece fish and chips. It was absolutely delicious. My friend enjoyed a chicken ceasar wrap and said it was the best one ever. Staff is very friendly. Establishment is well kept. The rolls that are served before the meal are even served warm. I will definitely be back!
We were a group of 10 and our waitress did an excellent job tending to our table. The food was fantastically flavorful and hot when it reached the table. Everyone enjoyed their meals and remarked at how great the wait staff was. Can't wait to visit Tom's again.
